So we rebuilt the brand from the ground up. A sharper strategy. A younger audience. And a launch that doesn’t whisper. It kicks the door wide open with 16 distinctive films in its very first year.

Each film zooms in on a real-life moment. Sometimes everyday, sometimes life-defining, and brings clarity to the chaos. With humor, honesty, and a human touch, we showed there’s always a clear solution: The right insurance for every situation.

MakING A brand relevant in hip-hop culture

JBL set its sights on Gen Z by connecting with the pulse of today’s culture: hip-hop.

Partnering with Virgil van Dijk - football legend and hip-hop enthusiast - alongside his rap idol, Winne, we created a platform to give emerging artists the stage they deserve. This wasn’t just a brand activation; it was about amplifying fresh, authentic voices in hip-hop and pushing their sounds into the spotlight.

We teamed up to drop a mixtape that highlights the future of hip-hop, giving up-and-coming talent the chance to be heard like never before. JBL isn’t just about sound; it’s about connecting to culture and amplifying voices.

THE FIRST STATUE DESIGNED TO CLEAN UP CHEWING GUM IN AMSTERDAM

We’ve always had a soft spot for the quirky. Turns out, so does Amsterdam.

Together with my good friend and fellow creative Stefan Apswoude, we teamed up with the city to launch a campaign in an unexpected form: a statue.

We hit a nerve, by pointing out just how much gum sticks to Amsterdam’s iconic streets. Then we offered a weird little solution we thought they’d love. Forty-six meetings later, Stachew was born.

A statue with a mission: to keep the streets of Amsterdam clean, one piece of gum at a time.

Message on Stachew:
Stick your chewing gum on this shoe and help keep Amsterdam clean.

We turned an MRI into a cinema

While an MRI is among the pinnacle of medical gadgetry, let's face it, for people inside that metallic cocoon, it's experienced like being trapped at a less-than-stellar rock concert with no escape.

So we asked: What if we could make it feel like an escape instead?
By adding soothing headphones, a bespoke orchestral score, and mesmerizing visuals, we turned the MRI into a moment of calm. The MRI CINEMA.

Not just diagnostics. A deeply human experience. One that cares for the mind as much as the body.
