On socials, we mostly see the polished version of people. But it's everything that came before that shaped their character. To bring Grolsch's brand platform, "Proost op karakter / Cheers to Character," to social, we created The Character Test: a content series in which we take people with a strong sense of character on a journey to a hidden Grolsch bar, deep in nature. Along the way, we put their character to the test through honest conversations about the setbacks, choices, and experiences that shaped them into who they are today.

SkyShowtime set out to become the go-to streaming home for all things Star Trek. But to truly win the hearts of Trekkies, we knew we had to go beyond just content.

So we created the TrekSuit. The ultimate binge-watching uniform for die-hard Star Trek fans. Inspired by iconic uniforms from the series, the TrekSuit is built for comfort and packed with Easter eggs only true Trekkies will catch. Think: a built-in popcorn pouch, a dedicated remote holster, and subtle nods to Starfleet style.

So we rebuilt the brand from the ground up. A sharper strategy. A younger audience. And a launch that doesn’t whisper. It kicks the door wide open with 16 distinctive films in its very first year.

Each film zooms in on a real-life moment. Sometimes everyday, sometimes life-defining, and brings clarity to the chaos. With humor, honesty, and a human touch, we showed there’s always a clear solution: The right insurance for every situation.

JBL set its sights on Gen Z by connecting with the pulse of today’s culture: hip-hop.

Partnering with Virgil van Dijk - football legend and hip-hop enthusiast - alongside his rap idol, Winne, we created a platform to give emerging artists the stage they deserve. This wasn’t just a brand activation; it was about amplifying fresh, authentic voices in hip-hop and pushing their sounds into the spotlight.

We teamed up to drop a mixtape that highlights the future of hip-hop, giving up-and-coming talent the chance to be heard like never before. JBL isn’t just about sound; it’s about connecting to culture and amplifying voices.

We’ve always had a soft spot for the quirky. Turns out, so does Amsterdam.

Together with my good friend and fellow creative Stefan Apswoude, we teamed up with the city to launch a campaign in an unexpected form: a statue.

We hit a nerve, by pointing out just how much gum sticks to Amsterdam’s iconic streets. Then we offered a weird little solution we thought they’d love. Forty-six meetings later, Stachew was born.
